Food is amazing. Service is great. Ambiance is a vibe. Come here often, one of my favorite places. Black owned. Soul rolls is my favorite 10/10 would recommend!

First time here ! I heard the Brunch was really good so I decided to try it out during the week when it's less crowded. A little hard to find (lighting outside is min). Parking in front of restaurant. There is stand up Comedy later in the evening. Drinking are strong but tasty, food was hot and came out quickly. There was 1 Server (Louis) and he did not disappoint !! Restaurant is clean - music is a little loud but the selection (R&B and "Old School" is perfect ! Not familiar with any other "Southern"(not New Orleans) Restaurants in the SFV so you have to try this one!

I just had to share my experience at BlaqHaus because our waitress, Destiny, was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and it was clear she genuinely cared about our dining experience. Throughout our meal, she checked in just the right amount--never intrusive but always available if we needed anything. Not only was Destiny friendly, but her positive attitude was infectious! She created such a welcoming atmosphere that we couldn't help but enjoy our time there even more. When the DJ started, we were totally in our zone! It's not often you come across such an attentive service that also brings such a soulful vibe. If you're looking for great food coupled with outstanding service, I highly recommend. And make sure to ask for Lou, as Destiny informed us she'll be leaving soon. You won't be disappointed--Lou brought the warmest attitude to our experience. Thank you, Destiny, for making our visit memorable, especially since we traveled all the way from Atlanta!

I just DoorDashed a couple of items and they were absolutely . The fried deviled eggs took me by surprise. They coating makes you think it's meat on it. The salmon sliders were amazing. Nice piece of salmon on the bun with great flavor. I'll be back for sure

Came here after a long hike for some brunch. This place is perfection. The customer service is amazing. Everyone is welcoming and makes you feel at home. The table didn't even need to choose dishes. Our server Viv took time to walk us through the menu and let us know her favorites. She guided the table for each persons correct selections. Ask to sit in Viv section is a must. The food was so good from the drink, catfish and waffle. All a cut above. The meal was beyond delicious. You'll feel satisfied with the price and what you eat. The ambiance is immaculate. The music brings you in the mood for brunch. Everything was selected to bring the correct atmosphere for everyone. Needless to say I'll be back when I'm in the area.

When yelp asks me if I recommend this business I wish that there was a button for me to say "HELL YEAH" this place was so amazing. It was such a great representation of black culture. To be immersed in the culture was so fun and special to my girl and I. The DJ was absolutely amazing, the servers were so sweet, and the manager was so humble and professional. BUT THE FOOD THOUGH?! Oh my god.... It was so delicious I could not stop complimenting the manager. Please do yourself a favor and stop by this place. I am so thoroughly impressed. I am most definitely coming back here! Had a very good brunch here. I recommend making reservations for brunch - it's popular, and with good reason. Everyone was very friendly and the service was helpful while also being casual but in a professional way. It's like dining at a cool friend's place. We both had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious - the best version I've had in LA yet. Most places in LA try to fancy this dish up but it doesn't need or want that.. it's southern comfort food at it's best and it should be simple and unfussy. BlaqHaus does it right. They have a fantastic deal on bottomless drinks during brunch. We couldn't indulge this time but we did try a couple of Mimosas - well made if a bit of a smallish pour if you're doing "per-drink". Recommend getting a driver and doing bottomless! Speaking of driver - there is a parking lot! Amazing. Get yourself here for brunch ASAP. Ask for a patio table too, especially if you get there early and can enjoy watching a neighborhood wake up.
